🚀 New

Dot can now stop showing ads to devices and ages that don't convert

Findings can now suggest stopping a Google Search campaign's ads on one device, or to one age range or gender, when over the last 30 days that slice spends without converting, or converts at twice the campaign's cost, while the rest of the campaign does. Pace looks at one slice at a time, and never the Unknown group. It won't switch off every age range, both genders, or a second device on the same campaign.

This only appears on accounts whose goal is conversions. Budgets stay as they are, though the campaign may spend a little less. Pace re-checks the live numbers just before it applies, and nothing happens until you press Apply. Undo from the Changes tab restores the previous device setting or removes the exclusion.

The campaign device editor also now handles a device set to -100%. It shows "Not showing" with a "Show again" button, and no longer blocks you from saving.

✨ Improved

Improved: see why an ad platform turned down a budget change

When Google, Meta, LinkedIn or Microsoft won't accept a budget change, the Changes tab now shows the platform's own reason under that row. Hover it to read the whole message.

Some refusals repeat until something changes on the ad account. The first one Pace alerts on is Meta asking for a verified advertiser, which it needs before it will take budget changes on ad sets aimed at certain locations. You get one alert per account, with the ad sets affected. Pace keeps trying on each run and carries on as soon as Meta accepts the change. To get it in Slack or email too, switch on "Budget changes blocked" in Settings under Alerts.

🚀 New

Dot can now switch off Search Partners that waste spend

Findings can now suggest turning off Search Partners on a Google Search campaign. It appears when partner sites convert much worse than Google Search over the last 30 days: Google Search needs at least 10 conversions, partners need at least 20 clicks, and partners either have no conversions or have 2 or more conversions at twice the cost per conversion. Partners must also be a quarter or less of the campaign's search spend.

This only appears on accounts whose goal is conversions, and Google Search itself is never touched. The campaign may spend a little less afterwards. Pace re-checks the live numbers just before it applies. Nothing happens until you press Apply, and Undo switches Search Partners back on from the Changes tab.

🚀 New

Dot can now pause a losing Google ad

Findings can now suggest pausing a Google responsive search ad that is clearly losing to another ad in the same ad group. The winner needs at least 3 conversions. The loser either costs at least 1.5 times as much per conversion, or has no conversions after spending twice what the winner spends per conversion. Both ads need 100 or more impressions and must be approved.

This only appears on accounts whose goal is conversions. Pace never pauses the last active ad in an ad group, and it re-checks the live numbers just before it applies. Nothing happens until you press Apply, and Undo turns the ad back on from the Changes tab.
