5 updates shipped in Pace.

🚀 New

Change a keyword's match type in one click — now on the main Keywords table too

  • The match-type chip is now clickable everywhere you see it. On the main Keywords table (for both Google Ads and Microsoft Ads accounts), tap Broad / Phrase / Exact on any row and pick a new match type. Pace creates the new version and archives the old one for you, no bouncing into the editor.
  • Also live inside the campaign editor. The same dropdown works on every keyword row inside Campaign Settings → Keywords. Pending flips render with a dashed outline so you can see exactly which keywords you're about to reshape before you hit Save.
  • Same-save flips are now safe. Pace now creates the new match-type version of a keyword before archiving the old one, so same-text-different-match-type edits apply cleanly in a single save.
  • Long save errors don't hide the Save button anymore. In the campaign editor, a long "Couldn't save" message now truncates with an ellipsis instead of pushing the Discard and Save buttons out of the dialog.
🚀 New

Reports are ready for every Pro workspace

  • The Reports tab is now on by default for every Pro, One, Agency, and Founder workspace. Open any account or portfolio and Reports lives in the sidebar right next to Changes and Notes. No waitlist, no setup.
  • Your account overview now shows your three most recent reports at a glance (name and "updated X ago") with a one-click jump into the Reports tab. Starting fresh? The card shows a "Create your first report" link to get you going.
  • Everything the builder does is available today: drag-and-drop editor, platform-specific templates (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Microsoft), executive and chroma visual styles, AI-written commentary, branded PDF export, and scheduled weekly email + Slack delivery.
🚀 New

Clearer keyword errors and a Discard button in the Keywords editor

  • Keyword rejections now name the specific keyword. When Google Ads rejects a keyword because the match type isn't compatible with the text, Pace tells you exactly which keyword — e.g. The keyword "nike air max+" can't use this match type. Remove special characters like + * ? or switch to a different match type. — instead of a generic "please try again".
  • Discard changes in one click. Inside the Keywords and Negative keywords sections of the campaign editor, a new Discard changes button clears every pending add, rename, pause, or remove for the current ad group without you having to close the dialog and reopen it. It appears automatically when you have unsaved changes.
  • Front-end catches reserved Google Ads syntax before save. Characters that Google Ads reserves internally (+ * ? ! @ ~) are now flagged inline with a clear reason when you try to add them, rather than slipping through to the platform and getting a generic rejection.
  • Bulk-paste handles mangled syntax gracefully. If you paste a line like [nike air max (missing the closing bracket) the Keywords editor now skips it with a note — "1 line skipped — unmatched bracket or quote" — instead of silently turning it into a broad keyword with a stray bracket that Google Ads later rejects.
  • No more duplicated error banner. When a save fails, the error now appears once (in the sticky save bar at the bottom) instead of twice.
🚀 New

Pacing alerts now show which platform the account belongs to

  • Every Slack pacing alert now includes the platform name in the headline — 💸 Mega Cash (Google Ads): 11% ahead of pace — so when you have accounts with similar names across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and Microsoft, there's no guesswork about which one is being flagged.
  • Tighter, less noisy Slack pacing alerts. The headline variance and the body line no longer repeat the same percentage. One clean header, then the spend/expected/budget numbers, then "As of …" timestamp. Same information, less to read.
  • Email alert subject lines now end with the platform in parentheses. Handy when scanning your inbox or filtering on Google vs. Meta vs. LinkedIn.
  • Sparks (AI insights) now appear in the notification bell with the same rich layout as every other alert (account avatar, platform icon, account name) so you can spot which platform the new insight is about at a glance.
  • Auth-expired toasts call out the platform. When your LinkedIn or Microsoft connection expires and Pace prompts you to reconnect, the message now reads e.g. "LinkedIn Connection Expired" instead of a generic "Ad Platform Connection Expired".

Clearer warnings when a negative keyword won't fit Google Ads' rules

  • Search Lens now checks your negative keywords before sending them to Google Ads. If a selected search term is longer than Google's 80-character cap, exceeds 10 words, or contains disallowed characters, it's flagged inline with a clear reason before you hit Add, so nothing gets rejected silently at the platform layer.
  • Per-keyword warning icons on the offending rows, plus a collapsible summary banner showing exactly which terms can't be added and why. The "Add" button updates its count to reflect only the valid ones, and you can still add the rest in a single click.
  • Better error messages on the rare occasion something does slip through. When Google Ads rejects a keyword change, Pace surfaces which keyword failed, how long it was, and what the cap is, instead of a generic "please try again". Applies across the keyword editor, Search Lens, and the inline negative-keyword flows.
  • Future-proof translator. When Google rolls out a new error code our API client doesn't recognise yet, Pace now reads the newer sub-code Google ships alongside it, so you still see a specific message instead of a generic one.
