Mute one type of alert on one account

If an account keeps sending you an alert you've already made your peace with, you can now switch off that one alert type for that one account. Hover the alert in your notification bell, on the Alerts tab, or in Recent Alerts on the home page, open its three-dot menu, and choose to mute it.

Muting stops that alert wherever it would have gone: the bell, Slack and email. Every other alert type for the account keeps coming, and nothing else about the account changes.

Muted alerts don't vanish. They stay in the list, dimmed, with a Muted pill that shows who muted it and when. Click the pill, click Reactivate, and the alert is back on.

Each account's settings lists the alert types you've muted for it, so nothing stays quiet without you knowing. Mutes and reactivations are recorded in your change history. There's no timer to set: a mute holds until you turn it back on. Available on every plan.

๐Ÿ› Fix

A fix for alerts that repeated every morning

An account whose numbers stay unusual for a while now gets one alert, not the same alert every morning. If the situation worsens, or a new metric joins it, that still reaches you straight away.

The "typical range" printed in an alert is now the range that actually triggers it, so a number sitting outside it is genuinely the reason you were told.

And when an alert mentions one of your budget changes, it's because the timing, direction and size of that change line up with what moved โ€” not just because a change happened that week.
