Improved budget shifting: campaign groups can now take part

Budget shifting has always left budgeted campaign groups alone. That's still the default, but you can now pick groups to include, which matters most for accounts where every campaign sits in a group. In portfolio settings, on the Budget tab, each account shows how many of its groups can shift. Click that line and tick the groups you want in.

An allowed group gets a share of whatever its account gains or gives, in proportion to its budget, and never drops below what it has already spent. Groups you leave unticked keep their own budget. You'll see a group's share in its settings and next to its budget in the campaign table, along with the portfolio that shifted it.

Owners and admins can allow up to 25 groups per portfolio. Available on Pace One and Enterprise.

✨ Improved

Improved budget scaling for Local Services Ads and campaigns without impression share

Google doesn't report how much impression share a campaign lost to budget on Local Services Ads, and often leaves it out for Performance Max, Display, Video and Shopping. When that figure is missing, Pace now looks at spend against budget. A campaign that spent close to its full daily budget yesterday, and has averaged close to it over the last 15 days, is being held back by budget, so Pace can give it more. The usual daily change limits still apply.

This works on accounts using a daily spend floor too.

🐛 Fix

A fix for change history lookups in Dot and connected AI assistants

Ask Dot or your connected AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini) what Pace changed on an account, and it pulls up that account's full history. You can ask about a date range as well, like "what did Pace change on this account between 1 and 15 September".
