Google Ads audience analyzer now recommends network opt-outs

  • New Placements tab. The Google Ads Audiences improvements tool now has a Placements category alongside Age, Gender, Income, and Devices. It highlights Search campaigns where Search Partners or the Display Network expansion is quietly burning budget compared to the primary Google Search surface.
  • One-click network opt-outs. When a placement is underperforming, select it and click Apply. Pace writes the change directly to your Google Ads campaign's network settings, no copy-pasting or digging through Google's UI. Campaigns that already have those networks turned off are dimmed so you never double-apply.
  • Clear guardrails before you apply. Network changes affect a whole campaign at once, so the Apply dialog shows an amber banner spelling out exactly how many network settings will flip and on how many campaigns, and reminds you that the change is immediately visible in Google Ads. Mixed selections (e.g. a couple of age exclusions plus a Search Partners opt-out) still apply in a single action, with a combined summary in your Change History.
  • Stricter scoring on Placements. The Placements tab uses tighter spend and waste-score thresholds by default because a network opt-out is a bigger change than a single demographic exclusion. You can loosen them any time with the existing threshold controls.

Sharper Meta audience analyzer

  • Know up-front what can't be excluded. If an ad set uses Meta's automatic (Advantage+) placements, the analyzer now tells you right in the row: no checkbox, a tooltip explaining why, and guidance on where to enable manual exclusions in Meta Ads Manager. You'll never tick a box for a change that can't actually run.
  • Clearer feedback when you apply changes. The post-apply toast now spells out exactly what succeeded and what didn't, naming the ad set and the specific change. Whether every modification went through, some failed, or all failed, you always get a concrete message.
  • More detail in Change History. When you open the Change Report for a Meta audience action, each row now shows the ad set name, the exact modification applied (e.g. "Removed placement: Facebook Feed"), and a per-row Success/Error badge. At a glance you can see which modifications Meta accepted and which ones need another look.

Know the moment Pace pauses (or re-enables) an account

  • Overspend Monitor alerts. When Pace's overspend monitor pauses campaigns to keep an account inside its monthly budget cap, you can now get a Slack message and an email the moment it happens. The same alert fires again when spend drops back under the cap and Pace re-enables those campaigns, so there's never any guesswork about what state your account is in.
  • One toggle, both events. Turn it on once under Settings โ†’ Alerts โ†’ Pacing โ†’ Overspend Monitor and you'll be notified for both pause and resume actions. Each alert tells you which account, which platform, how many campaigns were affected, the MTD spend, and the budget cap that was crossed.
  • Available on every plan. Overspend monitoring is core pacing behaviour at Pace, so the alert is open to every workspace, not gated to a higher tier.

More reliable Microsoft Ads reporting

  • Large Microsoft Ads accounts now load consistently. Dashboards and scheduled reports for high-volume Microsoft Ads accounts no longer time out during busy periods. Pace gives Microsoft's reporting service more time to finish generating reports for backend jobs, while keeping the dashboard itself snappy.

Customizable executive reports

  • Pick the metrics on every page. Every page in the Executive report template now has its own settings panel in the sidebar. Choose which three metrics headline the cover page, which metric drives the campaign bar chart, which metrics anchor the Metrics Overview columns, how the Top Performers list is sorted, which campaign statuses to include, how many rows each table shows, and more.
  • Editable strategic notes. The Strategic Notes page now has a notes editor in the sidebar so you can write up next steps and recommendations for the client without leaving the builder.
  • Cleaner page picker. The standard KPI Summary page no longer appears as an "Add page" option in executive reports, since the executive template already includes its own Performance Summary page out of the box.
  • Small but nice: the analysis block on the Campaign Performance page has moved below the campaign table so the bar chart and table get full-width treatment, and the segment tables on the Audience Breakdown page now have proper column headers.
