Bring teammates into your Pace workspace from Settings, choose whether each one joins as an owner or a member, and change or remove their access whenever you need to. Only an owner can send invites and manage roles.
Permissions required: Only an owner can invite teammates, change roles, remove members, or cancel a pending invite. A workspace can have more than one owner.
Owner, admin, and member roles
Pace has three roles. Invites assign either owner or member; some workspaces also include admins.
- Owner — full control. Owners connect and manage ad accounts, handle billing and plan changes, and invite, remove, or change the roles of teammates. Making someone an owner gives them everything you have, billing included.
- Admin — connects and manages ad accounts like an owner, but can't handle billing or manage the team.
- Member — day-to-day access. Members view the dashboard, accounts, analytics, and reports, but can't connect or manage ad accounts, handle billing, or manage the team. When a member opens Linked Accounts — the page where owners and admins connect and manage ad accounts — Pace shows an Access Restricted message instead.
| Capability | Owner | Admin | Member |
|---|---|---|---|
| View dashboard, accounts, and reports | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Connect and manage ad accounts | Yes | Yes | No |
| Invite, change roles, remove teammates | Yes | No | No |
| Billing and plan changes | Yes | No | No |

Invite a teammate
- Open Settings. The General tab is selected by default.
- In the Team Members card, click Invite in the top-right.
- In the Invite Member dialog, enter the teammate's Email.
- Choose a Role, either Owner or Member. New invites default to Member.
- Click Send Invite. A confirmation message appears, and the person shows up in your team list with an Invited status.
Pace emails the invite to the address you entered, and the link expires in 7 days. If it lapses before they accept, send a fresh one.
Accept an invite
If you're the one who's been invited, open the invite email — its subject names who invited you and which workspace — and select Accept invitation. On the Accept Your Invite page, sign in with Google. Pace adds you to the workspace and opens the dashboard, where you can see the workspace's account performance, campaigns, and reports.
Change a role or remove someone
- Open Settings and find the person in the Team Members card.
- Click the ⋮ menu on their row.
- Choose Make Owner or Make Member to change their role, or Remove User to take them out of the workspace, then confirm. For someone who hasn't accepted yet, choose Cancel Invitation instead.
Removing someone takes away their workspace access right away. Your connected accounts and pacing keep running exactly as before, so there's nothing about your ad accounts to unwind.
Note: A workspace always keeps at least one owner. You can't demote or remove the last remaining owner, and you can't change your own role or remove yourself.
