Why is my data out of date?

Numbers look behind? See what the Synced chip means, how often Pace refreshes on your plan, and how to pull the latest figures from your platforms now.

Pace pulls fresh figures on a cadence set by your plan, so a gap between your ad platform and your dashboard is usually the schedule doing its job. The Synced chip in the toolbar tells you when the numbers on screen were pulled.

Hover the Synced chip for the exact timestamp, then select the refresh icon beside it to pull now. The chip reads Syncing... while data is on its way and updates itself when the new figures land.

Why the gap happens

  • Your plan's refresh cadence. Basic refreshes every 24 hours, Pro every 12, One every 6. On Enterprise, every manual refresh pulls live, and the workspace owner picks the background cadence in Settings → General.
  • The platform hasn't finished counting. Yesterday's spend and conversions settle after the fact on the platform side. Amazon Ads restates orders and sales for up to 14 days, so Amazon rows carry a Reported through marker showing how far the reported history reaches.
  • Timezones. Spend and pacing are calculated in each ad account's own timezone, so an account set to Sydney rolls into a new day well before one set to New York.
  • A platform briefly didn't answer. Pace keeps the last good figures rather than showing a zero, and adds a line above the table naming the platform and the time those figures were taken.

Work through it

  1. Read the dot. Green means the last sync was within the past few hours, amber within a day, red longer than that. Green plus a timestamp you recognise means the data is as current as your plan allows.
  2. Refresh manually. Select the refresh icon. If you're on cooldown, the tooltip shows how long until the next one and how often your plan allows it. On Enterprise, if a teammate synced in the last 30 minutes you get their fresh data instantly.
  3. Compare like for like. Check that the date range and the Last Month toggle match what you're comparing against in the ad platform.
  4. Check the connection. If the chip stays red after a refresh, it's a connection problem rather than a timing one. See why your ad account isn't syncing.

Note: Open dashboards pick up newer numbers on their own. When a background refresh lands, the table quietly reloads and you keep your place.

Still looks stale?

Email [email protected] with the account name, the platform, the timestamp from the Synced tooltip, and the figure you expected to see. That's enough to trace it.
