Grade your ad account's setup

Grade an ad account's setup with a scored 0-to-100 health audit: an A-F grade, a ranked list of fixes, an AI summary, and a printable PDF for clients.

Account Health Audit gives you a full best-practice checkup of one ad account: a score from 0 to 100, an A–F grade, a ranked list of what to fix, and a plain-language summary you can export as a PDF.

Permissions required: Account Health Audit is available on the Pro plan and above. If you're on Pro or higher but don't see Audits under the Improvements tab, email [email protected] to have audits switched on for your workspace.

What it is

The audit is a point-in-time health check for one linked ad account. It runs a fixed rubric and returns:

  • an overall health score from 0 to 100 with an A–F grade, plus a trend arrow showing the change since your last audit
  • a score for each category
  • a ranked list of findings
  • a list of passed checks (what's already healthy)

The score is deterministic: the same account data always produces the same score and grade. An optional AI executive summary sits on top in its own Summary section and never changes the numbers.

Why use it

  • Hand a prospect or client a credible, printable snapshot of how their account is set up.
  • Turn "something feels off" into a ranked to-do list, with the most serious must-fix issues pinned to the top and quick wins flagged with a badge.
  • Track account health over time with a coloured score dot and scheduled re-runs.

How it works

Open an account, go to the Improvements tab, then the Audits sub-tab. Pick an Analysis window (last 7, 14, 30, 60, or 90 days) and choose Run audit. Pace scores the account against its platform's rubric in a single pass. Once an audit exists, the button becomes Re-run audit, and the Audits sub-tab shows a coloured dot and score.

Pace orders findings the same way every time: the most serious must-fix issues sit at the top, then everything else by severity (Critical, High, Medium, Low). Each finding names its category, states the observation with real account numbers, and gives a concrete next action.

Use Export to download a PDF report. It's formatted for A4 with the account name in the header, and covers the score, grade, executive summary, category breakdown, every finding with its action, and the passed checks. Use Schedule to set a Daily, Weekly, or Monthly run. Every completed scheduled run posts an in-app notification. In your workspace alert settings under Audits, you can also set a target score, then route any run that falls below it, along with critical findings, to Slack and email.

When to use it

Reach for a structured audit instead of an ad-hoc scroll through the account — see how to audit an ad account in 30 minutes for the manual version of the same checklist.

  • You've inherited an account and want a structured list of what needs fixing and why.
  • You're pitching a prospect and want a clean, hand-over-ready health report.
  • You want a standing monthly check on a client account, hands-off.

Reach for the audit when the question is "how well is this set up right now?" When it's instead "did something change today?", that's continuous insights. See how AI Sparks surfaces continuous insights. The two run independently.

Limitations

  • Audits cover Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Microsoft Ads. LinkedIn Ads and TikTok Ads aren't covered yet.
  • New or low-spend accounts run a limited, configuration-only check and stay without a letter grade or score dot until there's enough data, so a small account never gets a misleading grade.
  • The audit is point-in-time, not continuous. It runs on demand or on a schedule; it doesn't stream live alerts.
  • PDF is the only export format.
