The performance chart shows how an account, a portfolio or your whole workspace performed day by day. It plots your real figures, so the axis reads in dollars, clicks or percentages, the same as the numbers in Ads Manager.
You'll find it in three places:
- Account pages, at the top of the Performance tab. It stays on screen when you switch to Keywords, Ad Groups or Ads, or open a single campaign, and it always shows the whole account's totals.
- Portfolios, on the Performance tab, blended across every account in the portfolio and shown in the portfolio's currency.
- Home, in the Performance card, blended across every account in your workspace.
Pick your metrics
Four metric boxes sit above the chart. Each one shows its total for the date range.
- Click the metric name at the top of a box to open the picker.
- Search or browse by category, then choose a metric. The box and its line switch to it.
- Click anywhere else on a box to hide its line. Click again to bring it back.
Pace remembers your four metrics, and which ones are hidden, for each account and portfolio.
How the lines are drawn
With one metric showing, you get its real values on a single axis with a light fill underneath.
With two or more, the lines sit on top of each other and each gets its own scale, so a $5,000 spend line and a 3% CTR line are both easy to read. The axis on the left belongs to the first metric showing and the axis on the right to the second, each tinted in its line's colour. Any third or fourth line has its own scale too, without a labelled axis. Hover the chart to read exact figures for any day.
Note: Because each line has its own scale, compare shapes and trends between lines, not heights. A taller line isn't a bigger number.
Compare with the previous period
The chart follows the date picker above the table, and the chart header shows the dates it covers. Open the picker's Compare tab and choose a comparison, such as Previous period or Previous year. Then:
- The previous period appears as a dashed line for each metric, lined up day 1 against day 1.
- Each metric box shows how much it moved. Green means the change is good for you, so falling CPA reads green and rising CPA reads red.
- Hovering a day shows the current value and the previous value side by side.
On Home, the comparison is always the last 7 full days against the 7 days before, marked 7D vs 7D.
On a portfolio, the dashed lines appear once every account in the portfolio has loaded its previous-period figures.
