Client Reports turns an ad account's raw numbers into a branded, board-ready PDF you can hand to a client or a CMO. You don't build a slide deck or copy numbers across by hand, and the client needs no ad-platform login to read it.
What it is
Client Reports is Pace's built-in report builder. It assembles wide, landscape-format reports for a single ad account, drafts the commentary for you, and exports to PDF in one click. You can also roll every connected account into one cross-platform Portfolio report. It works across all seven platforms Pace connects to: Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Microsoft Ads, TikTok Ads, Reddit Ads, and Amazon Ads. You'll find it on the Reports tab of every account.
Why use it
- Skip the deck. Pace pulls the numbers, charts, and narrative for the date range you choose, so you're not rebuilding a report by hand every month.
- Put your brand on it. Every report carries your agency name, logo, and an author byline (your report writer), plus a per-client logo and name.
- Hand it to non-experts. The commentary reads in plain English, so a stakeholder who never opens an ad platform can still follow what happened and why.
How it works
A report is a stack of pages you switch on or off: a cover, a KPI summary, budget pacing, top performers, a campaign table, an AI insights recap, account changes, and a closing page, among others. You pick which pages appear; Pace arranges them in the right order. The builder shows a live preview, with every page rendered at the exact size it exports at. If you're deciding which pages earn their place, see what agencies should send clients.
You start from a template. The chooser leads with templates for that account's platform, and each platform has a standard Performance layout. Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Reddit Ads, and Amazon Ads also offer an Executive template, a denser boardroom-style version with an at-a-glance KPI cover. Portfolios get the same nine-page treatment as Portfolio Executive, blending every account into one deck. Its Performance Summary page scopes to a single platform or a single account, so you can open on the blended picture and then zoom in without leaving the executive layout.
On almost any data page, click Generate and Pace drafts the write-up from the report's own figures: spend totals, period-over-period changes, top performers, and pacing status. It lands in an editor you can freely rewrite. Reports autosave and keep a snapshot of their data, so reopening one months later shows the same numbers it had at save time.
Choosing what each page shows
Select any page and its Page settings panel opens beside the preview, where you pick the metric columns that appear. Top Performing Segments takes up to six of spend, conversions, CPA, clicks, impressions, CTR, CPC, and CPM. Top Keywords uses the same picker. CPM is available on every surface in the builder that lets you choose metrics, including the executive cover's headline figures and portfolio pages.
Google Ads reports also carry a Search Terms page: the queries people actually typed, rather than the keywords you bought. It lists the 20 highest-spending terms for your date range with their match type and campaign, sorts by any column, and shows between 5 and 20 rows. New Google Ads reports include it; older reports add it from Add page.
When to use it
- You send monthly client reports and want them branded, fast, and repeatable.
- You need one clean summary for an executive who lives in outcomes, not dashboards.
- You want one cross-platform view, with every connected account in a single PDF.
Good to know
Client Reports is included on the Pro, One, and Enterprise plans, and it's on by default. Building and exporting reports is open to any member.
On Top Performing Segments, the clicks, impressions, CTR, CPC, and CPM columns fill in for Google Ads. Meta Ads and Microsoft Ads segment rows show a dash in those columns. Search Terms is Google Ads only.
Permissions required: Editing your workspace branding — agency name, logo, and report writers — is limited to owners and admins. Other members see it read-only.
