Two different jobs

Optmyzr works the auction.
Pace works the month.

Optmyzr is a deep Google Ads and Microsoft Ads optimisation tool. Its Rule Engine and PPC Investigator earn their keep. What it doesn’t do is recalculate every campaign’s daily budget so each account lands its monthly number. That loop stays with a person. Pace does it, on every platform you run, and writes the changes itself.

Keep Optmyzr, add Pace

Your team lives in Google Ads.

Rules, scripts and Investigator are part of how you work. Keep them. Hand the budgets to Pace so nobody recalculates daily spend by hand, and switch off any Optmyzr rules that change budgets on the accounts Pace paces.

Switch to Pace

You mostly used it to watch spend.

If Optmyzr is your pacing dashboard and alert feed, or most of your budget now runs on Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit or X, Pace does that job across all of them. Budget pacing is what it was built for.

Where they meet

What overlaps. What Pace adds. What stays with Optmyzr.

Overlaps

  • Search terms. Search Lens scores terms for waste and adds negatives, on Google and Microsoft Ads.
  • Account audits. A 0–100 health score with ranked fixes, for Google, Meta and Microsoft.
  • Alerts. Sparks flags anomalies on all eight platforms and recommends. It never acts on its own.
  • Client reports. Branded, with AI-written commentary and PDF export.

Pro and above.

Pace adds

  • Automated pacing. Daily budgets recalculated and written to the platform, one to three times a day by plan.
  • Overspend protection. The monthly budget is the cap, checked every five minutes, on every plan.
  • Flights and groups. Pace a group of campaigns to its own budget, or to any date range instead of the calendar month (Pro and above).
  • An audit trail. Every change logged with the old value, the new value and the reason.
  • Eight platforms. Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Microsoft, TikTok, Reddit, Amazon and X.

Stays with Optmyzr

  • Bid management. Pace moves budgets, not bids.
  • A rule engine. Conditional rules on a schedule are Optmyzr’s core. Pace has none.
  • Scripts. Custom automation you’ve built stays where it is.
  • PPC Investigator. Its root-cause analysis on search is hard to beat.

Nothing happens in the dark

Every budget change, with the reason

Pace changes budgets and shows its working. Old value, new value and reasoning, logged for every change, so “why did spend move?” has an answer you can send.

Dot · One and Enterprise

Ask why. Get the numbers.

Dot is the AI agent inside Pace. Ask about any account in plain English. It reads the live data itself — spend against budget, this week against last, campaign by campaign — and answers with the figures.

  • ✓ Cmd+I from any page. It already knows the account you’re looking at.
  • ✓ More than 20 specialised tools across all eight platforms.
  • ✓ Shows its working. Every answer opens into the steps it took.

Optmyzr questions, answered

What teams ask before they add Pace or switch.

It depends on what you use Optmyzr for. If your team lives in its Rule Engine, scripts and PPC Investigator on Google Ads, keep it. Pace does not manage bids. If you mostly use Optmyzr to watch spend, or your budgets run on Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and other platforms, Pace does that job across eight ad platforms and can replace it.

Yes. Pace sets daily budgets so each account lands on its monthly target. Optmyzr works on bids, keywords and rules. Give each job to one tool: if an Optmyzr rule also changes budgets on an account Pace paces, switch that rule off, or leave those campaigns out of Pace.

Both scale with the ad spend you manage. Pace is US$49 a month up to $25K managed spend, US$99 up to $100K and US$199 up to $500K, with Enterprise quoted above that. Every plan has unlimited users and no contract. Optmyzr lists from $209 a month billed annually, about $299 month to month, as of mid-2026. Check Optmyzr’s pricing page for current figures.

Some, around the budget. Search Lens scores search terms for waste and adds negative keywords for Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. The health audit grades Google, Meta and Microsoft accounts against best practice. Sparks flags anomalies. All three are on Pro and above. Every plan can edit Google Ads campaign settings inside Pace. There is no rule engine or bid management.
